"Creatively Capturing the Many Scenes of Life"

Judy Bruner, Photographer

Judy has a passion for photography, an attention to detail, and a down-to-earth personality that combine to create images of which her clients are proud. She began developing her eye with snapshots of her children many years ago. She formerly served as the secretary for her local camera club, Sweetwater Camera Club, in Douglasville, Georgia, and is a member of the Professional Photographers of America.

She enjoys many different types of photography, but her favorites are portraiture, landscape and nature photography. As in her life, she prefers a candid rather than formal approach to her portrait photography, but also feels strongly that the wishes of her clients dictate the style of image she makes. Most of her work has been produced in natural light, but she will soon be adding studio lighting techniques to her knowledge base.

Judy has been retained to make portraits for a variety of purposes, including maternity sessions, engagement sessions, music CD cover and promotion, Christmas cards, and portrait gifts. She has had an image published in the annual "Super Lawyers" publication in Atlanta and numerous camera club images published in "Chapel Hill News & View" out of Douglasville.

Judy shot her first wedding -- a small, intimate, outdoor event -- in June 2007. She was honored to have been chosen as the photographer for this joyous event. She shot her second wedding with the aid of two other photographers in October 2008. It was a beautiful event in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She was honored to have been chosen for this beautiful wedding and enjoyed everybody involved in the event.

In addition to prints, Judy offers fine art note cards and calendars utilizing her images, with a product line named "jbruner designs by Lifescapes Photography."
